Discovery: Adding detail to your home

I found this lovely silver candle stick holder at an antique shop in Asheville, NC.  It is from Germany, ca 1925.  I will be sure to put it to use at my next Ladies Tea.

This made me think:  You can add so much more character to your Ladies Tea table and to your home when you carefully select items and your collection grows slowly over time.  Don't rush to buy a set of new china or decorate a room from a catalogue.  Instead, be on the look-out and pay attention adding a special item every now and then.  

This candle stick holder is a souvenir of a wonderful mini-vacation as well as a fantastic permanent centerpiece for my Ladies Tea Table.
